Surprise Trip to Martinique Beach!


Unbeknownst to me the guys surprised me
with a trip to Martinique Beach.
You can walk for miles(kms)
on this beach or swim all the way down to the end
if you feel like it.

 I listen very well when I'm happy...really I do my best!

 Oh come on Jim....please please please may I....have the stick?

 I'll bring it back to you...I, so, promise!

 A perfect catch and turn on the 3rd wave.

and as I promised you, Jim...
is returning for another fetch ...
just as I promised!

When the sun shines and fog is far off shore,
Martinique Beach 
is a walkers, surfers, sun worshipers
paradise....
and I must add runners and fetchers
paradise as well!

    1. I found your comment in my spam file so I popped it on over to the blog...must have been a hiccup! PS...the water is still cold but we are hardy Maritimers and need the cold to make us walk and swim fast...in and out like sauerkraut...as they say! Thinking of your Angel!!!

  5. Ah, if I was healthy and rich, I would visit with you all summer and play on that beach with you, Sophie. It looks so wonderful and bare feet friendly!

    1. Yes we have ticks here...3 kinds...so we are careful with those areas that are known to be hot spots...Sophie is taking a medication called Revolution an external tick defense...it works and we only give it to her from May to Sept(once a month) when ticks are still here. We tried the internal(pill form) last year and she was very lethargic...so tried another angle. The thoughts of a tick bite is just too hard to handle so we have gone this route.

    1. Ron has a tendency to snap many many pics and so...must figure out which ones to use. So many are ready for other stories but alas...blogging would completely take over his life....Sophie Tophie!
