Yes, it's 6:30 a.m.
and before I knew it
Ron and I were out the door
taking advantage of early morning sun on the boardwalk.
We decided to take a gander at the beach,
just to see if there was any room to walk on the sand.
Now I see grass and rocks on this side!
and mucho, mondo, many rocks on this side...
A thin line of sand skirts the edge of the waterline,
but not enough to entice us to take that route back to the car.
With an about turn we headed back to the car,
up over the staircase viewing the lake on the other side of the roadway.
One last doodle sniff on this step and
Guess What?
Guess who worked up
Guess who worked up
a major breakfast appetite!

Oh Sophie, that walk's tired me out just looking at it. Looks like you're ready for your breakfast treat!
ReplyDeleteNice to see blue skies in the morning for a change Ron.
Blue skies are hanging around here lately...makes everything feel great...no wonder we got up at 6:30 A.M.!

DeleteHi Y'all,
ReplyDeleteStoppin' to say "hello" and see how y'all are doing. Wow, my Human Papa would love your boardwalk. Pavement is hard on his knees and feet. What was for breakfast?
Hope you continue having a fantastic weekend!
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Pavement is the worst...get this...we have a long trail to walk on here at the end of the boardwalk(goes for miles and miles) well...they upgraded it with this hard gravel and now Ron can't walk on it because it kills his lower back...we use the old trail beside always...so we understand your predicament!
DeleteThe shadows are long that time of day!
ReplyDeleteand leaning from the other direction...a direction we don't get to see too often because we are snoozers!
Delete6:30am That's dinner time in our world. Dinner by sunrise, we say. Looks like a great way to start the day.
