Thank goodness. Let's get rid of those things. Good luckLily & Edward
Make them disappear and never come back, I say!!!
It's clear you're counting down the days, Sophie!
less than 3 days now ~ more like 2. something!!!!
I'm sure it'll be a relief when stitch-removal day finally arrives!
Stitches are good for one thing ~ keeping everything from falling out, but they don't tickle at all!!!
Hip hip hurray! We know it has sucked but are sure now that the bad infections will be a thing of the past, it will have been worth it!
Exactly right ~~ I'll be as dry as the Sahara Desert without any rashes ~~~ YAY!!
When those stitches come out, you'll be a new girl all over, but specially the rear end!!! I have heard that salt water is sooo good for healing, maybe a gentle dip will help. Hugs for Wednesday, Jean.
Guess what Jean? Jim took me along the water's edge yesterday and today and I managed it very well. Wed will be a snap with no problems (they keep telling me)! I do believe them you know!!Winks!
Thanks Pat ~ you are so sweet!
I just lost the comment I just wrote. Oh, well, SophieDoodle, what I said was that I didn't know you had to have stitches, but that I am so glad you are getting rid of them so you can run free again.
So very timely and interesting Inger, I have been losing comments too. On my previous post I was replying to Martha from Plowing Through Life and every time I published it, it would disappear into the ether. Yes, Sweet Sophie had some skin and fat removed from under her tail and above her vulva area. The skin was causing a rash which started to get out of control. So $600. later Sweetness is a new lady. We were cleaning twice daily and it was becoming too much knowing that we would be doing this for the rest of her days!! After 2 consolations, we decide to go for it and now we are here at this point ready for the stitches to be removed. Sophie is SO much more relaxed now and is itching to get in the water again.Take care and be good now!!Ron
Yay Wednesday! Bring it on!
Yes, Wednesday will be stressful but we both know Sophie will survive the "itchy stitchy" removal process!
That looks like a brand-new Mr Orangie - are you already celebrating Sophie? I know how boring recuperation is. Pull out all the stops on Wed!
Oh Barb, Sophie is counting down the days and hours!Mr. Orangie has survived this long ordeal, truly amazing for this ball in a long line of Mr. Orangies. This decision to help Sophie is the best thing we ever did for her.
Ah, what price vanity! I hope this is the last bit of cosmetic surgery Sophie will have.
So do we Mitch ~~ Nip & Tuck but not like the TV show ~~ Winky Tuck is all she needed!!
Dear Sophie, you have done a great service in speaking out so publicly about your "lady-bit surgery". That first post-stiches, off-leash, run, jump and roll in the grass will feel so marvellous. Enjoy the moment tomorrow. You'e earned it.
High 5 to you both and forward HO for tomorrow!!
Hope the stitches come out nice and easy! Love your face… a bit like my schnauzer with the beardy/eyebrow look. What breed are you?
Hi Frances, I am a LabraDoodle ~ chocolate lab Daddy and blond Standard Poodle!Do you want me to LICK you!?Winks!
Cute pictures of our Sophie girl in the tall grasses-- xoxoVicki
Rolling over and over on her favourite hill waiting for the stitches to be removed!!
