Sunset Delight with My Dads!

While transfixed by the sunset tonight,
walking straight into it seemed natural....

however a 'Mr. Orangie diversion' seemed to
throw me off.

But no matter what holds my attention visually...

or with my olfactory sense...

I can tease alone with the best of them,

(Daddy Jim's post The Dance will show this view from his angle)

 allowing in the end
much needed
calmness and  peace
as the sun slowly melts into the western sky.

  21. I hope you were keeping an eye on the water levels - or maybe the tide was going out. That sandbar reminded me of another day you were looking down on a beach and a man, and perhaps a dog, on a sandbar were cut off. I'll bet that, even with such an enticing distraction as Mr. Orange, you're an Old Salt and wouldn't get caught like that! You have so much fun running here and there on that beautiful beach. I wish I had your enthusiasm and your beach. I had to walk for 35 minutes in our house yesterday. We had a blizzard followed by very cold weather!

  22. Sophie Doodle! You are one lucky dog! What our dogs would give to play on that beach.
    Gorgeous sunset to boot.

  28. Sophie, whether the light brings out your blond highlights, or catches your front and rear feet almost overlapping in a joyful run, or shows off your grin as your four feet splay, it is all just FULL of energy and vitality. Topped off with a gorgeous sunset scene, you tell your dad this is just a spectacular post.

  30. Thanks everyone for your kind comments today. Daddy Ron got a bit(a lot!) behind and didn't answer everyone's lovely words. He said he'll make up for it and answer twice on one post...LOL!
