Peggy's Cove from a Distance

For those of you who are familiar with Peggy's Cove,
this angle is somewhat unknown
because it's outside the village's boundaries.

We like coming here because of the obvious reason
~~~no people~~~
I am watched very closely because rogue waves are known
to sweep people off the mammoth rocks.
These rocks and mossy areas are just perfect for me,
because I can romp and roll (that sounds like another blog),
only I'm at sea level.
Take a look at the romping and rolling
high in mountains on that blog.
Jim is in his element when we check out other shores.
I just ask that he throw my ball,
just a few times.
I need my exercise too.
This is a great resting area,
so soft and spongy.
My Dads keep saying
"Roll over, Sophie
roll over"
They think I don't understand,
man, are they Clueless in Seattle or what!
  1. Hi Y'all,
    We really, really liked that shot of Peggy's Cove with you on the rocks. What great pics!
    Y'all come by now,
    Hawk aka BrownDog
  2. You have one cool place to explore all by your lonesome. Maybe we could rename it Sophie's Pointe
    Benny & Lily
  3. Looks like a pretty interesting place to go, Sophie! Nice pictures!
  4. You live in the coolest place and your humans take you to the funnest spots.
    I love your blog and reading your adventures and seeing all the pictures.
    Good goings
  5. Poor Sophie! It's so hard to get a good owner :)
  6. That's a very interesting place--so much to explore. Do you ever find critters hiding in those rocks?
    XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella
  7. The size of those rocks speaks volumes of the power of the sea that put them there. Very beautiful stuff.
  8. Sophie
    I love coming to your bloggie.
    There are so many awsome things to look at, and so many photos of you.
    I can even smell the sea.
    I love your blog!
  9. Looks a wonderful place -bet there are lots of wonderful smells there for you Sophie ! love the header by the way -the tousled look suits you ! xx
  10. You find the absolute best spots, Sophie! Peggy's Cove is just beautiful!
    Love ya lots
    Maggie and Mitch
  11. awwww sophie, look at your travels! i bet you must have a huge scrapbook of all the places you've been to! you aren't just another pretty face, you run a travel agency, too!
  12. How funny, I think I just saw a post about Peggy's Cove a few minutes ago. And there was a dog in the photos that looked just like you.
    Your Friend, m.
  13. I love Peggy's Cove. Those boulders are so picturesque and the grass is so green. It is hard to visualize a rogue wave coming into that garden of boulders but I'm glad that you were careful.
    Keep romping and rolling, Sophie!
  14. I visited Peggy's Cove many years ago. We were lucky and had beautiful weather. It's a happy memory for me.
  15. Peggy's cove looks like an abso-bloody-lutely amazing place. Slightly eery and deserted ....... But Sophie looks gorgeous (if somewhat soggy), as usual!
  16. I just love these collages because we get to see so many more pictures of you, without having to scroll and scroll. Peggy's Cove is beautiful, but, if it's dangerous, you make sure you listen to your Daddys. Except when they tell you to do silly things like roll over, of course.
  17. Peggy's Cove is spectacular! The contrast of the soft spongy green and the big rocks is so cool. I bet that is high on your list of favorite places. And Sophie, you look very cute in your lastest header photo. Soggy suits you!
  18. such a neat place to visit...
  19. LOL! I love the picture of you in the center of that last collage. Oh, I'd do anything to know what you were thinking.. :-)
  20. Sophie - Love these pictures!! I have some wonderful memories of Peggy's Cove - it was a rainy day when I was there last - but my photos are killer! Its a beautiful place~~
This 'DOODLE' is looking forward to your comment....don't be shy...all I do is SNIFF & LICK!
