This is my new friend Duke,
a Doberman
who is only 4 months old.
He took a shining to my new yellow ball
so I figured this would be a learning moment for Duke.
As you can see,
the ball never left his mouth
and I figured that's OK
sharing was the point of all this.
I played coy and ignored Duke many times.
Alas, Duke was too young to realize
that he was supposed to give up the ball
every now and again!
So we shared and played
until his Daddy had to go home.
I really hope to run into Duke again.
He had a great demeanor.

Very sweet! :-)

Hi Y'all,
ReplyDeleteDuke seems like a well socialized fellow. Hope he learns to share before a less generous playmate teaches him the hard way.
