OWEN ~~~ I visited OWEN!

It's been 4 months since I met OWEN  (HERE)

and he has all grown up!

Owen!

Well, sure enough!

It is my new friend

who is as hoppy and floppy as me!

That was fun,

and there's always time for a buddy drink

in the middle of Owen's huge property.

All kinds of puppy friends staying 

at the doggy day care.

Now apparently this little snookums

is a Doodle too.

Looks like a chocolate lamb to me.

I see you Owen.

I might be 6 years older

'butt - eye' still can play hard

so get ready!

My Garden is Alive!

Time to start surveying my spring flowers ~~~

 Double Snowdrops are multiplying like crazy,

even more so than the single.

Is that possible?

The crocii are volunteering everywhere

especially in the walkway,

and  under the azalea bushes.

I particularly enjoy laying in the walkway 

amongst the crocii

just in case the guys decide to go for a drive.

Keeping an eye on the car is part of my responsibilities, you know.

I truly enjoy this crocus...

and I take extra special care not to trample the little feller.

They are so pretty dotting the landscape.

I love crocus!

I am a doggy of few words ~~~

so I just had to thank everyone

for their most sincere and kindest words

that were sent to my Auntie Elaine 

yesterday!

I am so excited

that she might receive some solace

some comfort

from your support.

As a matter of fact

I just know she did ~~~

Waves for Auntie Elaine

Today is a big day for my Auntie Elaine

who lives on the other side of the country.

 She is starting rounds of chemotherapy.

(Ron and I went to the beach today

and we made this video)

As I mentioned  HERE  I was very concerned for her 

and told her that I loved her.

I hope these waves give you renewed energy

and help you over this hurdle thrown up in front of you.

Pine Needles & Moss

 We discovered a new path in the park

covered in pine needles.

Do you think I match?

There is just something very calming

and soothing about this heavily treed section.

The noise is buffeted by the denseness and 

all the needles smothering the ground

blanket the decaying forest matter.

Since it is so soft to walk and sit on,

I'm more inclined to 'Sit, Stay'

and with Mr. O as my reward

Gees I've got it made!

Once I proved myself that training works

and that consistency helps even more,

then I meandered off to check out 

this mammoth rock covered in moss

with a tree growing on / around / in it.

After checking this collection

I think there is more than one tree

I'd say three trees are happily balanced

on this mossy outcrop.

The moss was very evident,

I think because it was an overcast gray day

 making the various shades of greens pop.

 With winter in the rear view mirror now,

the vegetation is starting to entice me,

even this mossy stuff.

Now my chances of having a morsel or two 

of anything is tripled/quadrupled and more

because Ol' Man Winter has gone to bed.

Through the Magic Woods

This is the continuation of my walk from

 the other day < click if you missed it

Slipping through the woods at the treed point on MacDonald Hill,

will find you walking through a spring runoff just about here ~~~ 

on the edge of a cliff 

high above the crashing waves below

This is my kind of place ~~~ waves to body surf and water to dunk myself~~~enjoy!

 My video today will allow you to understand why I love visiting this area.
