Sophie Practicing her DoodleEnglish!

This morning as I snuggled close to Dad,
I began a few moaning sessions
just to let him know that
I do understand the spoken word.
~~~
I call my attempt...
DoodleEnglish,
and anyone who follows me
knows that this is their language too.
Now I have to rest my vocal chords for awhile....later folks!
Cupcake Walk Off!
Time to work off those cupcakes with a energetic jaunt in the park.
 In the summer I would be in that water but now I'm on the high road sniffing trails!
Most of my favourite spots, like this spring runoff is always a perfect re-hydration station.
OK, Jim what's with the pace? Any chance of slowing down a tad?
Guess not, I seem to be lagging behind, I guess my curiosity is getting the best of me.
Our cool weather has been in the normal range
 but with very little snow as you can see the lack of here.
It makes sniffing more enjoyable and successful,
but causes me to have to catch up
more than not.
See, what I mean,
Jim's back at the parking lot already.
With my incredible sniffer, I can find him
on a cupcake dime!
winky wink
Birthday Trip to Three Dog Bakery!
My birthday extravaganza has really taken over my blog life!
Daddy Ron put a 3:40min video together while we were at
the Three Dog Bakery.
Excitement ensues and then....finally
I find what I came for....mmmm.
At the end of the video,
my new blond girlfriend is so nice to me
and you'll see me help a little boy
choose some treats for his doggy!
My Birthday Smoochie!
 Off we drove over hill, over dale
to the place that puts a smile on my face
and I'm sure would put one on yours as well...
 You see this lady baker at
Three Dog Bakery,
I think fell in love with me.
Seriously....
 She kept calling me over and offering me these scrumptious treats.
 I paid for my 4 cupcakes and rawhide,
then reached to give her a smoochie...
What a special place this is.....
 I was so intense with my rawhide...
so very intense.
There were a few people in the shop,
but really my rawhide
put me into a trance.
Thanks pretty blond lady...
I'll see you next year,
if not way sooner!
PS.....I want to thank everyone
for all the
special Happy Birthday greetings
that you left
It's hard to believe that I was ever that small,
because now I'm so large that someone's bed
isn't big enough for three...lol!
Excitement and a Mackerel Sky
Sophie was quite easily excited today on the walk
at Point Pleasant Park.
She gets this glint in her eye and before you know it
she is dancing and hopping all over the place.
We think that
of the weather to come.
When this happens Sophie becomes more jovial and hyper.
You saw how she teased Ron by not giving up the ball
and how she ran and dove for the ball and almost hit the ground with her chin.
These actions are somewhat normal for her but today were
a lot more than usual
due to that fishy sky!
Happy Birthday #5...Sweet Sophie!
 On February 2, 2007 I came into the world.
 I waited patiently for the guys to discover me.
(I had a feeling that my eyes might snag them)
 And when they walked into the store and walked right up to me
and picked me up...
Well...I began snuggling!
 I've been snuggling and nuzzling these two desperadoes ever since.
 I just lay my head softly on their shoulders and become completely relaxed.
 My first toy was Goosey who squeaked so much that
I had to put an end to it.
 Mr. Giraffe didn't make it out of the store...just saying!
But I did and I'm so grateful
to be in the loving arms of Jim and Ron.
Five years have gone by so fast,
I just can't believe it.
I know the next five are going to be
full of hops, jumps, licks and slurps,
only just more...!
New Friends ReHash!
At Point Pleasant Park this passed month I met a few friends that I, now, see more often.
 This is another Sophie, an Aussie Labradoodle with thick curlies and a mouth like mine!
 This is Bandit, Ron's recent boss' doggy...we tore around a lot chasing Mr. Bionic.
 You remember Sidney, the Goldendoodle?
We turned out to be really great friends.
 This is Charlie, a Pug, who we ran into a year and half ago.
This is our first encounter since then with...
 Lucy, who was Charlie's bestest friend and taking life a little easier now.
These are my new friends and I hope to meet more.
Life throws curves at us all,
I hope your curves are smooth ones
and that you can manage
what is tossed your way.
Tomorrow is a big curve for me,
so drop by and you'll see what I'm talking about!
