TEASING & TEMPTATION

Jim ~ What are you doing?
Oh, so you are using your magic powers again.
Always teasing!

You can't get away from me,
as I have told my friends on Facebook.
'cause I am as fast as a bullet
as quick as firefly
as speedy as a comet (how appropriate).

This fellow has the whole beach to himself now,
with me heading over the grassy dunes to the car.

The perfect weather is holding it's own
which is a plus for us
because wet snow is on it's way.

I'll believe it when I see it.
I love tempting the Gods.

Teasing and Temptation
they always go hand in hand
from my perspective.

  1. Looks like a chilly day. That lone guy on the beach... escaped inmate?

    1. Perhaps, Sharon ~~ surfers are a unique lot. The thing is there are more and more of them every year. Each day you'll find a hardy person, novice or familiar with the waters, out there in ZENLAND or should I say ZENOCEAN .

  2. Truly superb, every one. And I do like the RTP at the lower edge, great font, nice place for it, ...is this embedded for security? Keep warm as that cold nears, Jean.

    1. I began RTPing recently when I started making blank cards for the Jim's shoppe. I figured I better promote myself somehow. I like the font because it is so simple, maybe it'll change someday, you never know with my way of doing things.

  3. P.S, to S J Qualls, the inmate from NZ who was out on leave, went to Auckland Airport, flew to Chile then Brazil... has been found and captured, and from what I have read, will be deported back to NZ very soon. ( This is true, in case it didn't reach your news there!!!) Very embarrassing for all prison officials... So I hope there wasn't another, nothing in the news down here, maybe he flew in from another country. Stay safe, Jean.

    1. Oh this is too funny Jean.

We have had 3, yes 3 inmates walk right out of our correctional center here this passed year.

So weird, they are supposed to be incarcerated, right !?!

    1. November in Nova Scotia will be so variable from minus Celsius numbers to low double digit Celsius numbers.

No wonder everyone gets a cold.

    1. Just a single header, Sybil ~~ this is all Lawrencetown Beach !

Funny thing is that we haven't stepped a foot on Conrad's Beach this year ~~ unheard of in years gone passed.

I'm still a bit worried about getting all the way out to the further beach and having some heart issues. When Jim had his issues in 2009 we did walk out to the further beach and it was a BIG MISTAKE. We learned the hard way. So I choose L'Town Bch and MacDonald Hill for now.

One thing that I have gained this year is the amount of intriguing pictures from L'Town Bch and Mcd Hill which I otherwise wouldn't have.

      Cheers and all the best,
      Ron

  6. Oh, Sophie, those two guys are something else, aren't they? What a threesome, out and about and right in the thick of those wonderful grasses. And some pretty fantastic photos to prove it, too :)

    1. The grasses are quite beautiful right now with the late afternoon light covering them. I prefer walking on the beach but sometimes the guys don't want me to get all sandy and wet. My hair is getting long again and takes awhile to dry. I do believe I sense a haircut in the not too distant future!!

Cheers to you, Bill and BJ!!

  7. I love the grasses and the ocean. It looks like your weather is pretty darn good for this time of year.
Ron, you asked if it was normal for us to get such cold weather. Yes and no. It's normal in that it gets really cold here. But in November? No! We've already been down to -15F. Too darn cold!

    1. We are having fairly good weather but the other day wet/snow arrived. It was one miserable day but we slugged through it.

I was blown away with the temps you were having. My brother lives in Edmonton and his temps are no better.

      November needs to smarten up!

    1. Thanks Louise!

We were in a bit of a hurry this particular late afternoon, so I quickly snapped some shots! The light was perfect!
