Dealing with Life

Sometimes we all just have to go with the flow
and handle what we have been dealt
the best way we know how.

 Zeroing in on a problem
that pulls at us and ties us up
can be exhausting
if not crippling.

 Getting close to the answer
and snatching the truth
with all your strength
and energy...

 is my position, right now,
as Daddy Jim deals with
his father's agedness.

I will keep close to him
no matter what happens...

and no matter
where we are on this beach of life.

Visit Daddy Jim
at
I know he'd appreciate it!

  4. I feel for your Daddy. My Grandma passed away earlier this year and I am left to grapple with a Grandpa with Alzheimers. It feels like I have lost both of them. Dealing with aging parents is hard. For me it has helped to keep an open mind and really try to learn who my Grandpa is all over again - who he is now. I cherish the new things that I discover about him. Sometimes they are things I would have never learned if he didn't have dementia. Tell your Daddy Jim that our heart goes out to him.

  6. Dearest Sophie, Your post brought tears to my eyes. You are such a sweet girl. I want you to know that there is nothing better than having a good dog walking by your side when live gets tough. I had been wondering about Jim's dad and now I will go visit him. Hugs to you my dear girl. And to Daddy Ron too.
