SNNNiiiiFFFFF...Smells Good to Me!

 My nose can detect a delectable morsel
from meters away.

 This lumpy bumpy is one I buried
this summer in the garden
~well hidden~
so my Dads
couldn't find it.

 Are you watching me?
I have my eyes on you
and I'm pretty fast
so don't even think you'll catch me.

I'm not called
Super Speedy, Sophie
alias
for nothing!

4 on the Floor!

I've always had my feet firmly planted on the ground (see above)
however
there are times when
my exuberance
just makes me
want to fly.

These guys seem to know
just when
to taxi
me
to
take off!

Peggy's Cove from a Distance

For those of you who are familiar with Peggy's Cove,
this angle is somewhat unknown
because it's outside the village's boundaries.

We like coming here because of the obvious reason
~~~no people~~~
I am watched very closely because rogue waves are known
to sweep people off the mammoth rocks.
These rocks and mossy areas are just perfect for me,
because I can romp and roll (that sounds like another blog),
only I'm at sea level.
Take a look at the romping and rolling
high in mountains on that blog.
Jim is in his element when we check out other shores.
I just ask that he throw my ball,
just a few times.
I need my exercise too.
This is a great resting area,
so soft and spongy.
My Dads keep saying
"Roll over, Sophie
roll over"
They think I don't understand,
man, are they Clueless in Seattle or what!
Collage a la plage!
As I said to one of my followers the other day,
we took a ton of pictures on the beach the other day
(like 500..haha),
so these ones were kinda cool
in this case...emphasizing shades of brown with black and my new yellow ball.
and these give you a great idea of the pristine, clear, blue skies
giving a great background
for this para-surfer's/kite surfer's sail.
My passion is digging and swimming
so you can see me trying to topple Jim into my hole.
The water expanse shows you where I was digging that hole,
that person standing is Jim.
I always take full advantage of this beach
because they are so many options
wild waves
calm river waters
holes to dig
sticks to mess with
and
above all
loads of shaking
on you know who!
Beach Attack!
 A much needed beach attack was needed this afternoon.
 Once we got there I conned Jim into some ball time!
 What a day it was warm breezes, great surf and my new ball.
(Psst...I found the exact same ball at a pet store in the city
yesterday, so now I don't have to drive all the way to Maine
to get one if I lose or mangle the poor thing)
 Pitch after pitch...this was heaven, really!
 Even the birds made way for me today....they are pretty good about sharing.
 The tide was on the verge of going out/receding/relaxing a wee bit.
 Where is it? I know it's here somewhere!
 Hey Daddy Jimbo...thanks for taking me today!
 I've had an ear infection all week and wasn't much up for any crazy beach shenanigans.
 So this beach attack was extra special.
Just Try It...I Dare You!
  'suppose you think you're going to spray me?
 What is it with you humans?
 In case you didn't know,
My Daddy was a Lab
and
My Mommy was  a Poodle!
 As soon as water hits me,
I turn into a dancing fool!
 Seriously, I am out of my mind....
 my head spins like what's her name in that movie...you know
Linda someone in the Exor..something!
 OK, I'll just hide here for a moment.
I'll pretend I'm a tree or something.
 Rainbows, again, always rainbows when I'm having fun!
Thanks Daddy Jim!
You know we had a cool time there didn't we.
Just watch yourself though,
I'll find a way to soak you
very soon!
Focus in a Monet Setting
 My favourite canal provided a serene mood for my slice through the water today.
 Plunge....aim....
 and...capture.
This peaceful scene shows you what we experienced as we followed the dirt road along the water's edge.
Splash.....
Plunge...aim...and capture.
I am working on, if not perfected, my delivery.
How about you?
 It's a process,
one that I focus on daily.
