High on the dunes with Ron....
while Jim takes this photo.
The action,
anticipation,
the feel of cool weather,
the comradeship,
and
connectedness
all appear
instantly.
Editing potentials are numerous...
some immediate yes's
some just 'ok interesting'
some super faded
changed with an overhead tint tone
some given a posterizing effect
then changed with a new hue
and warmed with a soft rosy glow....
These are all variations on the bonding theme.
Bonding with humans and animals.
Very nice! We like the second one and the last ones best, but they are all very nice!
ReplyDelete-Bart and Ruby
So many options to choose from...editing has opened up a new world!
DeleteI've been playing around with the photo options myself but keep coming back to the normal old photo. Yes, I'm plain and boring!
ReplyDeletem.
I'd say you are a purist...and there's nothing wrong with that!
DeleteWe love playing around in the sand with mom. What a fun day
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
smiles!
DeleteThe infinite, bottomless joy that is Photoshop.
ReplyDeleteLooking great Ron!
Actually this Picasa(free), I might add! So much fun though!
DeleteNice job! I wish I had more time to play around with photoshop... or Picasa.. So much to do and so little time, right?
ReplyDeleteNo pressure...just give Gracie a huggeroo for me!
DeleteHi Y'all,
ReplyDeleteLove all the pictures of you Sophie! My Human is fascinated with all the editing!
Like the "negative" look.
Y'all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Oh Hawk...tell Your Human that Dad likes to do this a lot...he's always had a creative side to him and blogging is satisfying that need!
DeleteThe just "ok interesting" is one of my favorites. I like the texture of the grass and coat.
ReplyDeleteThanks Terry...it actually "IS OK"...just needed to pick on one!
DeleteGary like the last one Sophie.. I'm not talking to you ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe last one is a bunch of fun...it's a cool technique...and I'M NOT TALKING TO YOU EITHER!;-)
DeleteI think I am somewhat of a purist too, although I sometimes tweak a few in Lightroom.
ReplyDeleteI like playing with textures sometimes, but that always means I have to go into PhotoShop and that is NOT someplace I like to go!
Dad is so amateur and in the inquisitive mode, so tries anything more than once and sees what happens...his creative bent is being satisfied right now and keeps him out of trouble. He's never used a lightroom and knows that the "real" photographers would use this process...$ is so high nowadays!
Deletewow- your making magic happens before our eyes!
ReplyDeletelove
tweedles
Presto....Chango!
DeleteGreat picture in many differend kinds. Beautiful...
ReplyDeleteThanks...Dad gets so involved in this stuff!
DeleteSHE loves messing around with the effects. You have some great pictures there.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Let's see some of HER creations!
DeleteWonderful effects but I do like the first two the best.
ReplyDeleteSo that's the original photo and a edited one(I just went back to figure out what I did and the steps aren't there)...I'll have to do some diggin' and write the steps down from now on...learn from my mistakes!
DeleteIt's a great shot - no matter what you do to it.
ReplyDeleteYes...I really like it S......Jim has good timing!
DeleteTerrific edits! I really LOVE the last one - so cool!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like Pat...I like the effect of the last one too...only one problem I found it in Picnik and Google is closing out Picnik on April 19th...they have developed their own Creative Kit editing system attached to Google + but I don't think they are offering this edit effect called Panography-ish! SO just waiting for April 20th to see if the editing effect is avaialble!
DeleteI find the fracturing most interesting...I'll have to try it out!!
ReplyDeleteI explained to Pat about this editing effect...you'll see what's happening! I like it tooo!
DeleteVery cool!
ReplyDeletelots of fun!
DeleteThe last one is my favorite, too. Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
DeleteKewl photo to play with.
ReplyDeleteHad a great time with this one!
DeleteNumber 2 is my favorite. But you always take good photos and I shouldn't play favorites. Sophie and Jim are awesome subjects. Kind of like Bill and Chloe...
ReplyDeleteNo. 2 worked out well, thanks! Actually this is Ron and Sophie interacting(confusion on my part for not being explicit enough)...no matter what...a good time was had as always!
DeleteBOL! I read this on my reader and came over to say how much I really liked the last photo and there it is on your header! Guess you really liked it too ;D
ReplyDeleteWaggin at ya,
Roo
Yes I really like the effect that this produces...I found it on Picnik and since Google is shutting this editing system down and scooping up all the features I figured I should try the freebees! It closed on April 19th and I'm editing pix all the time now to use later...at least that's the plan. Good to see you Roo Baby...Happy Easter Bunny!
