WINTER BLUES & WHITES

Daddy Ron let me out of the car
as he peered through the frosty windshield
at the boardwalk

He tries to keep up!
But I am a LADY DOODLE on a mission.
I know what I have to do
and
veering off the snow covered walkway
into the deeper snow
affords me more chances of finding
delicacies.

No luck
so up and over the walkway
onto the beach itself
surely should connect me with just one small tiny morsel

alas all my seaweed treats are covered up
not visible and not even allowing my nose to detect
where they might be hiding
in all these
"blues and whites"
~
Next time!

    1. The Northern Hemisphere above the 49th parallel is pure white it seems.

I see that your family got off the ground and are heading safely home. So glad to hear this.

Cheers Jean and I dream of seaweed tonight!!

  2. It's so good to see you again, sweet Sophie, even if your daddy mainly took pictures of your rear end!

    1. Sophie is always ahead of me, Inger!

I have so many "hind end" photos, you would not believe it!

Such is the life of a Doodle Owner always trying to catch up!

    1. Well the air was cold enough to take my breath away ~ I can assure you that much.

So kind of you and all the best to you and Jerry!

  4. Wonderful photos Ron. Do you sometimes walk up Terminal Hill (is that its name?) in the distance ? Sooki loves to eat seaweed too and things far worse when she gets into the woods.

    1. Yes (we call the hill Hawkin's Hill), I have trekked up that slope. My 1st trek since my H.A. was last spring and it was such a JOY to reach the summit.
      Cheers!!

    1. When the weather changes for the better I will head back to this place and I suspect will find my treasure/s!

My hair is longer and fuller/thicker now. My salon lady does a good job me thinks.

Cheers and licks from my frozen world to your warm world!
