SPRING RAINS

potential 

a HIGH potential

for a flooded basement ~

In September 1996

this is what happened to us,

however this time around it's 

|| SPRING 2019 ||

 When we got home

from lunch at the French Cafe

my 1st reaction was to begin shoveling the water

by the back door.

Fingers crossed

as the rains are beginning to abate

and the basement is surviving.

Got to go now

in case

 the shovel needs to be put into use again!

Ten years ago
these 2 wild and crazy guys

got themselves hitched.

I spent the day at my fave daycare farm

down the road from our house.

I thought I'd spread the word

rubbing myself all over them
on this 1st day of Spring.

she makes the choice

that suits her best.

Looking back over the passed 1 1/2 years

gives her juicy fodder

for stories that only she can divulge.

BIRTHDAY MONTH

Yes Sophie's 12th Birthday

rolled around on February 2.

While most humans were celebrating

Ground Hog Day

Sophie luxuriated

in loving smooches and hand pats

all day long

from anyone nearby.

SOPHIE HAS RETURNED !

I have been missing in action for some time now.

I am 2 years older.

Have endured a few haircuts

as you can see.

And the picture shows you 

my sore 'toe toe'

which began a few weeks ago

spread to three feet in total ~

"licking"

is the signal

meaning the Dads

try to distract me

from over licking 

causing 

the toe to become inflamed.

My pal "Mr. Buster"

keeps an eye on my condition all the time.

Such is my life a t the moment.
