MY HAPPY PLACE

Yes this is my HAPPY PLACE!
Over there on the hill is MacDonald House
where my Daddy Jim works
2 days a week.
~
On this side of the river
is a beach
which takes a while to reach by sand or through woods.
~
No matter!
After a couple years
of not visiting
we decided to trek our way to this spot.
~
Needless to say
I was over the Doodle Moon!
~
I hopped
I ran
I ate seaweed
I ate anything I got my paws on.
~
NIRVANA
does this to one.
I rest my case!!

    1. Hi Ryker!
Yes our world is very Maritime oriented with plenty of sandy beaches and waves. We visited this stretch of land for the 1st time in a couple years. When Sophie saw the route we were taking she was beyond herself. That is saying is mildly. The terrain is varied from beaches to woods so the last part of the hike was tramping through a new trail we hadn't used before. The storms continually change the landscape as well as tear down the evergreen trees thus changing the paths. It's all nw again and we have to learn a new route.
      Cheers to you all!!

  7. Judging from all the footprints in the sand, you must have been leading Ron and Jim on a merry chase as you hopped and ran, SD! LOL I'm really happy that you shared your happy place. I haven't been checking your posts daily, Sophie, because I was losing hope with Daddy Ron so busy doing other things. I hope you've got him back on track now! Wink! Wink!
