Sails on the Rocks, maybe!

Rocks!
We are always walking on rocks.
See the sails gliding by the massive boulders
that surround our city and province.

Those people with water frontage
deal with water and tide levels everyday.

But I myself just slip along the cliff's edge ~~~

checking that the sails didn't land ashore on the rocks, unexpectedly.

Lookee!
I'm way down here ~~~

mastering the delicate manouvres of rock walking in the water...

balancing, checking for slippery edges

reaching dry flat stones

and finally feeling the relief of a great stone to stand/sit on

we get loads of exercise every time we head out

Hey Jim come on down,
I have something to show you!!

    1. The third one has great perspective. Sophie non-chantly ambling along looking at the sailboats trying desperately not to come ashore. I like it too, Sharon! I'm feeling so much better now thanks to TLC!!

    1. No I 'fraid not ~~~ our water stays cool until July ~~~ then it's begins it s-l-o-w transformation. The month of August is the warmest and we can lay in the water and zone out or go body surfing!

    1. The waters around our city are so clean after years and $$ to build a few stations for cleaning the sewers etc that were flushed into our waters. Disgusting eh! Well, one thing that the city finally realized was that water is precious and so is our shoreline!

Had fun with editing the other day ~~~ hearts going out to everyone!

  16. Sophie, The Hurricane's doodle, Emma, didn't like to walk on rocks. She would pick up her feet very carefully when she encountered rocks. When The Hurricane was in school, Emma would jump up on my lap, all 75 pounds of her, and stretch out across me with her head on one armrest of a recliner and her feet and legs on the other armrest. Then she would fall asleep, and so would I. I miss Emma, but I love seeing you with your handsome dads, Sophie girl.

    Love,
    Janie
