A pleasant reprieve from the sweltering hot temps
was welcomed the other night when we hopped into the car
and skipped down to the boardwalk
at L'Town Beach.
Jim and Sophie were here earlier today
and the place was a mad house
of sunbathers and surfers...
amazing how a wee bit of fog
can send them all scurrying to their cars and home.
Enjoy....!
The fog isn't going to scare us off....evah!
(but something and someone hiding behind
a board partition could have been mighty scary)
a board partition could have been mighty scary)
I'd be afraid of werewolves! Do you have them around your parts?
ReplyDeletem.
Foggy apparitions and hairy monsters...coming out of the dune grasses....eeeeeekkkkkk!
Delete'Around my parts!!"

ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Hey Ho...Tuesday greetings and if you need some sun I do a "Sun Dance" and it always works...well, maybe not always, but it doesn't hurt to try to Donna Summers "Bad Girls"!
DeleteI can't believe I'm saying this, but I miss fog!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, Mitch..any time you want some I'll bottle it and send it over...just ask!
DeleteDoes that beach actually belong to you three, or what??? I never see anyone but you on the beach and I am so jealous! I want a beach of my own!! The video was fun! It looks like you turned that fog into a day of adventure... And you and Jim seemed to be scheming behind that board.

tweedles
Oh Tweedles...visit my videos anytime you want to sate your need for the ocean and mists!!!
DeleteI like visiting the beach when it is foggy. It is actually much prettier in the soft light than in the sun. It's also easier to spot sea glass and cool rocks :)
ReplyDeleteYes and there is always a sea glass to find....!
DeleteOh we loved that fog, gives me a better chance to camouflage in when I am hunting, I am such a Great Hunter Extroadinaire (you may have heard?) - it is just a minor technicality that I've have never ever caught anything or even gotten close enough to make friends - fog, yip that could be the answer I am looking for....I may not be able to see my target, but they can't see me either, that is a step forward for me - good tactic, ha ha (Mummy2Legs just thought it looked mystical, she is prone to emotion you know)....Love Barnie x
ReplyDeleteOh Barnie...we have to figure out what works BEST for each of us on this gorgeous planet of ours...so...think about this fog ploy and use it...can you just imagine the treasures you could bring home to Mummy2Legs...she'd beam...wouldn't she...just a wee bit.....I'll be watching! Sophie!
DeleteWe love it when bad weather puts people off 'our' beach. It is amazing how fair weathered most people are. We love fog - it is so full of mystery. xxx
ReplyDeleteYeah, Lily we are kindred spirits!!!!
DeleteI love the fog and wish we could get some here.
ReplyDeleteas I have told some others...I'll bottle it and send you some, Inger...Mwahhh!
DeleteMom just returned from foggy San Francisco, so she knows how chilly it can be! Love the foggy walk on the beach.
ReplyDeleteMy Dads were there once and experienced the West Coast fog...you know what?...it's the very same! Imagine that!!!
DeleteBOO!
ReplyDeleteI love an occasional good foggy day!
Gees...you trying to scare me!!! BOO Back!
