The morning can be somewhat hazy or foggy
all around you and within you too.
My first inclination is to sniff and
pretty much any spot will attract me.
Come on Ron!
Up and Over
There aren't that many steps!
Slow, methodical steps
as he places one foot in front of the other.
Down the steps leading to the beach
always careful
A few minor adjustments
a flick here
and
a click there...
There now
~~~clarity~~~
he is in capturing mode.
Can't you just imagine
the waves rolling in
slowly and methodically,
just like we were as
we arrived for our
morning de-clutter.
PS...major thanks to Daddy Jim
at
for the candids!
Great pictures of your morning. Must be wonderful to go there. Imagine you are alone there.
ReplyDeleteWe have a sunny morning and the dachshunds are laying on the front stairs after the morning walk.
Hi....peace and relaxation on the shore early in the morning...love it! Hugs to all 4 leggers!
DeleteHi Sophie,
ReplyDeleteMy hooman sisfurr has a Labradoodle named Lucy. I'm you newest followe from the Sat. hop, I look forward to getting to know you!
Your new furiend,
Winston
Hi Winston..so glad to hook up and hop with you...love your blog!! next time!!
DeleteNifty photos! My fav - walking down the steps.
ReplyDeleteOur air is thick too, but it's smoke from the forest fires. No danger to us, but the air is very bad.
This is so unfortunate...we had a forest fire here in 2007 and we were almost evacuated...so stressful...smoke is a major health hazard for breathing and my Dad Ron has to stay clear of any smoke...especially neighbour's chimneys and backyard bonfires...this all started 15 years ago and looks like will be around for a long time to come.
Deletewe think you sent us some fog
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
So you got it did you? LOL!
DeleteWe love the haziness and fogginess photos---- and the clarity too!
ReplyDeleteYou always are going to have fun, and it makes us feel good!
love
tweedles
Tweedles your world has opened us all up to kindness, peace and love and if I can squeeze a wee bit of that out for anyone, then I owe it to you!
DeleteOnce again, amazing pictures! I really love the fog but there are times it does make me feel a little claustrophobic...I guess that's just me! :-)
ReplyDeleteI hope you and your Dad's are enjoying your weekend!
I understand the claustrophobia aspect of fog...here in N.S. we have so much of it and it plays with us relentlessly. One good thing about it though...it comes and goes on a whim...some in the morning and gone by afternoon...phew...we love taking pics in it because the effects are truly amazing. Take advantage of this fact Kim and I bet you will have some great pics of your dogs!
DeleteI really like this post! These pics are so cool and gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you enjoyed them...some times the everyday 'normal' just makes one feel better!
DeleteLove the processing on the top shot!
ReplyDeletea little bit of posterizing and presto!
DeleteHi Sophie girl- love the photos!! Early morning shadows are gorgeous!! Daddy Jim took some great pictures! I'm loving your new blog header too-- total fun!
ReplyDeleteHope you do something fun today!! ( me- not so much-- as I tell everyone- " that's why they call it work".)
Love you
Vicki
I'm sure you put everything into your work as you do with your artistic side. Ron had fun with the header...I guess it helps that I'm tearing around the beach chasing Mr. Orangie so he can get some great action shots. Cheers my friend! Sophie
DeleteEarly morning on the beach....what could be better?
DeleteExactly...Sage!
