My rain barrel is ready for me!
A wee bit early this year
but at least I can quench my thirst
whenever I want!
but what is this huge coin shaped white disc wedged into the opening?
Let's get my trusty tongue into this discovery....
It really seems to be in there for good...
I thought I saw myself in there...if you cross your eyes...there!
I do know that whatever it is
I likes it "straight up"
because I can lick it
and
I like it "on the rocks"
because it cools me off
after a good run at the beach!
A rain barrel! That is something we don't have here. Yours looks very refreshing and "on the rocks"....or maybe just "on the rock."
ReplyDeleteYes...we bought our 1/2 rain barrels at Home Depot many years ago...and use them for many different things...water for Sophie of course...plant beans in them...sweet peas...and a multitude of other things...move the barrels around each year for variety...on the deck this year...Jim says and I say Okey Dokey...besides I love beans and they will be very close to EAT!

DeleteThat's one big rock you've got in your cocktail there Sophie! Very sophisticated palate you have ;) Maybe that rock would make a good sled too? ;)

DeleteSnow cone! Yum!!!
ReplyDeleteYum Yum Yum..is right..Sophie loves ice and water!
DeleteYou must have had some cold weather to get those "rocks."
ReplyDeleteOh yes...freezing one night and the top 2 inches of the rain barrel had this coin of ice, so I worked at it and it came loose... so I turned it on it's side so Sophie could drink. I left it there and the next morning it was frozen upright...kinda cool I thought!
DeleteIf only it would last until July or August when you'll need it most!!
ReplyDeleteI hear you, Kim...We all would be licking it then...no such luck in keeping it...has almost melted as of today Sunday!
